Noodles’ Quesadillas

Ummmmmm - Quesadillas are so delicious and packed full of flavour and goodness for you.

Ingredients

Recipe for 2 people

2 wholemeal tortilla wraps

1/2 red pepper

small tin of sweetcorn

small nugget of grated cheddar cheese

salad and carrot sticks

drizzle of light olive oil

Cooking Method

Step 1
Before you start to cook, make sure that you’ve washed your hands really well. Then, get all your ingredients ready.

Step 2

First, ask a grown up to help you to cut up the pepper in half and then into small pieces. Always be careful using knives. Ask a grown up tp help you.

Step 3

Take a wholemeal tortilla wrap and put it onto a large plate. Sprinkle half of the peppers onto one side of the wrap.

Step 4

Next, add a spoonful or two of sweetcorn over the peppers.

Step 5

Scatter some grated cheese over and fold the other side of the wrap over the ingredients. Gently press it down.

Step 6

Ask a grown up to help you to cook your quesadilla. Be extra careful around anything hot. Put the frying pan onto the hob, pour a drizzle of olive oil in the pan and let it heat up. Carefully, lift the folded wrap and put it into the frying pan.

Step 7

Let it cook until it’s a lovely golden brown colour. To check how it’s cooking, use a slice to lift up the edge. When it’s ready, flip it over and cook the other side. Then, make the other quesadilla up and cook.

Step 8

Yummy! They are ready to eat. Noodles likes to share his quesadillas with a friend. He puts a little salad and some carrot sticks on the side to be super healthy. Enjoy!
